Saturday 6th June

After a rather wet Saturday I had a new line put on my new Orvis Reel at The Fly fishing Shop in Bakewell very pleased with it ! In the evening I called in again to meet John Watson the author of Angling with the Fly and had my copy signed.

2nd June 2009

Managed to get out again for the last hour - Mayfly and olive Uprights everywhere although
the trout were not taking the Mayfly, put on a olive F Fly and had 4 nice brownies. I had company! - I lone water vole made its way across the river in a almost straight line. Weather
has taken a change.

Monday 1st June

After a busy weekend of no fishing couldn't believe it with the great weather, I booked beat 2 and started at 20.00 from under Grindleford Bridge and waded up river at had 5 brownies on a Olive Upright there were loads of Mayfly coming off but the fish didn't seem to be taking them.
called it a night at 21.00. and headed for home.
