THE MAYFLY ARE STILL HATCHING !
The weather forecast today was much better than yesterday, the temperature was 20˚ and very sunny. I was on beats 6/7 where there is loads of tree cover, my first brownie was on
# 16 LDO, just as I was putting it back in the water I noticed another rise and splash to a mayfly
so I changed to the one up one down mayfly pattern and managed to catch 3 more brownies and one grayling as I was walking back to the car past beat 7 a good size fish was rising, so I cast down stream to him and whallop he took it a cracking 20" brownie above only fished for two hours very enjoyable afternoon.
